ABOUT ME

Maryann Abena Oteng is a writer, podcaster, literary event planner, book influencer, and the creator of the #ReadGhanaianChallenge. She hosts the podcast Books With Abena, which honours the literary works of African and Black authors from the past and present. She works in Ghana's public sector as a corporate communications professional, content creator, and social media manager. Her writing has been published in Writer's Space Africa (WSA) - Ghana, and she is one of the Samira Bawumia Literature Prize finalists for 2022. She is Project Lit Ghana's Project Lead, the first curaturally literary project targeted at Young Adults.
